Building Bye Laws:
The Recommendations approved by the Techno Legal Regime Sub Committee has been tabled in the Council's Agenda in the month of Dec'2007. The same is being approved by the council and forwarded to the Government for publishing it.
The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation has Organized a Mason Training Workshop from 18th to 27th April 2008 in Earthquake Resistant Construction Practices for 100 masons from the City. This workshop was co sponsored by Tata Tiscon. See Workshop Photos
The Urban Earth Quake Vulnerability Reduction Project implemented in the City has been extended up to December 2008 with a gradual phase out from the June 2008.
