IT Wing of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation primarily takes care of the VOICE (Versatile Online Information for Citizen Empowerment) Project, VMC website and other IT related activities of VMC. VOICE is a VMC initiative for incorporating and implementing IT as a tool for providing better citizen services and administrative efficiency. This initiative helps the people on the various counts.

VOICE helps in maintaining information relating to House Tax, Vacant Land Tax, Water and Sewerage connections and taxes, VMC Shopping Complex’s, Issue of Trade License’s, Building plan approvals – Periodic Demand Generation of the said activities and their collections through collection centers and eseva centers. It also helps in maintaining information regarding govt. related development projects and health related programmes, in redressal of citizen grievances etc.
